Wow, now that was nice.

Favorite vid? I am still loving " Always Be my Baby". And the song I'm digging most right now is "I'm Alive" for some reason. I really ended up liking the I Tunes version of that song.

And sorry, I have no control over song choice, or DC wouldn't have done " Hungry Like The Wolf" during R&R week, he would have done " House Of The Rising Sun" like I told him to.

And now I am going to go and listen to that I Meem link and put it on my playlist.

Favorite video... "Hello". I think it's my fav because I enjoy reliving that total "WTF and who the Hell is He?" moment. Focker took me by surprise... Billie Jean is a close second. Again... s'prize!

If I had my way, he would be doing Hello again, but mostly cuz I want a full-length version Sumthin Fierce. Choice for Song 2 would be... have you not read my recaps?! Hair Metal for the Win! How AWESOME would that be -- American Idol Season 7 -- not only does a ROCKER take the trophy, but he rocks 'em out with HAIR METAL! LMAO! And... since he seems rather ambivalent/unenamored with the AI Machine all of a sudden, he needs to pick a FU anthem. Yah, the Scorpions "The Zoo" it is... HMFTMFW!!!

Oh, and Palais is right -- no pull here, or Sexy would have done Def's "Bringing on the Heartbreak" during MC week, like I told him to. Yah, put your weapons down, YWABMB was good... but I still think BOTH would have been Fockin Righteous. Actually, he could still do that song on Tuesday and it, um, wouldn't hurt my feelings.

Perhaps I'll have more pull when I break up with him and he is begging me to take him back... Hmmm

I would have to agree that Hello is definelty my favorite......but I am fine with just about any of them that involve long stares into the camara.....and I would LOVE something a little nasty next week....but I am afraid that might be a little unsafe and send a few of us gals completely over the edge.....not that we mind or anything =)

OMG, I just love Creep...the way he sasses back the heckler, and then that ball.s. to the wall run of "Runnnnnnn" ...but I think Nigel's head would invert right up his nether regions if DC did that.

My favourite performance is Yo Face. Bought the vid from iTunes and play it dozens of times over. And cry most times.

I am addicted. And I don't wanna miss a thing.

First off, you gurls crack me up. I'm new to all this and must say feel a bit relieved to have found others who are equally obsessed with DC. Seriously. My last crush was Jordan Knight with NKOTB. So now that that ages me (and embarrasses me), to answer your question: Fave vid is Hello. That's when he got me.....

Palais, agree on "I'm Alive" - It's a great one. It grew on me...and I can burn like an extra 300 calories when I workout to his voice!

I think it's an actual mancrush Simon has. The $$$$ help the crush, but Simon is doing things like applauding midsong and tempering his criticism. Simon has never ever done those things. Ever. Not even for Kelly and Carrie.

I think he's doing penance for calling sexhawtonastick, who is the nicest hawt man in the world, "smug, arrogant, and without charisma." He's still in the doghouse w/ me on those. No charisma? Sexhawtonastick can bring that no charisma around here any time and I'll have myself a religous experience with it. Uh huh.

omyeffinggosh Bitten, I totally forgot that Mariah butchered Bringin on the Heartbreak!

I heard it ONCE on the radio and thought I was in the twilight zone. I called my husband at work and said "I think I just heard what sounded like Mariah Carey doing Def Leppard," Blasphemy, really.

Def Leppard was the ONLY thing I have ever obsessed about harder than David Cook. Apparently I am now 15 again. Shut Up. Mentally.

yeah they had a bit of testiness goin on with each other when DC backtalked Simon for saying he had no charisma (and slamming his Word Nerdness).

Apparently they have made up because Simon seems totally smitten. Who knew he had such good taste?

monster, can I just say that I am SO WITH you on the Def Leppard? Just LOVE THEM. STILL. Xcept when they're lip synchin, of course, and that just makes me sad. Particularly when it's "Pour some sugar on me" and Joe says "Hit It Steve" and, um, Steve's been dead since, oh,1991. Dammit, if our Cookie REALLY loved me, he'd do some Def!!! Yep, I need to break up with him....

Oh, and All Right Now is still one of my favorite vids. Literally, at THE TOP. But, I'll have you know that I still can't bear to watch Sexy sassin Simon... the night he did that, I 'dissed him... not to give him another glance until, well... "Hell-fockin-Lo!" Not that Simon shouldn't be sassed, cuz he should, but it was rather "incongrous" with his self-described intellect -- a smart man would have known to keep his mouth shut. Fortunately, Cookie is smart and learned from his mistake.

Back to ARN -- love that song, period. Paula was dead-on when she described it as a song that guys played and girls fell in love with. And, um, lurv it when Randy calls him a "Real Rocker" and he throws picks out in the audience. A personal messy moment...

Anyhoo - he joined this band in Tulsa as their guitar player and mostly sang backup only from what I've read. This video has a good amount of cookie vocals though.
