Now it seems that really no one here wants to talk about nothing but idol. I love idol, really i do, but does EVERY single blog have to be about idol? Are there really no other places where idol obsessives can go?

i look forward to seeing more blogs about worthier shows that will be ending this week, such as house or bones. not to mention the upcoming top chef ending in a few weeks...or the mother of them all lost next week....

seeing as i'm gonna tag this with idol i might as well make a prediction:

david will win :P

I agree that there's too much writing about Idol--it's not a show with substance beyond the impressive technical aspects, so unless people want to rave about how hard directing live television is and how well they pull it off, I'd rather they save their speculation for the watercooler. Yeah, I really hate AI. A lot.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm gonna blog my little heart out about finales of Gossip Girl, Grey's Anatomy, Top Chef, and of course, Lost.

I loved Idol in the beginning. Loved Kelly Clarkson, Ruben, Clay, Fantasia then I felt it was down hill after that. This year iI thought It was promising in the try outs when they had that kid ( whose name I can't remember right now.) who was living in his car . I thought he was really good but I believe that it became a little too overwhelming for him and he basically "messed up". I believe that with guidance it would have been different story. I stopped watching towards the middle because it was just too boring. It was more like a Karaoke event then anything else. I did see the final show. Wasn't impressed. So sad.
Maybe it is time to end this.
