Ahh summer is almost in the air.. well not for me though, damn you Buffalo!! The month of May is always one of my favorites; golfing season, summer blockbusters are coming out, and of course May sweeps. There has been no other show that has wowed me in the month of May like Lost has. Every season finale has reminded me why Lost is the best television show ever created! And now boys and girls with the season finale of season 4 looming, the night of May 29th will no doubt deliver another episode of jam packed mystery and suspense. As Bilbo once said "Gandalf my friend, this will be a night to remember.."
My thoughts: "No place like home"
For the first time in a flash forward we got to see the Oceanic 6 as a group together, thus officially confirming who they actually are. I always had doubts whether aaron was a member or not. Jack talks for all of them as he agrees to do a little Q&A when they get there with the media. Two things of importance came out of this press conference to my knowledge. The one being Jack's account for what happened when they crashed claiming that just 8 of them survived and were washed to shore. Later on Sayid was asked whether there might be any other survivors and he said simply "no". So now im wondering what exactly is this story that Jack urged everyone to stick too. Is it just a cover up to protect the other castaways. Are they alive and just never want to be found. Or did Keamy really fulfill his task and they are all dead. In that case maybe Jack and all them just don't feel like going into all the many many details that initiated the timeline of events to this mass murder of people. Or.. OR are they feeding this story to the media because they honestly dont know what really happened. They all had looks of shock and almost regret cruising along on the chopper before they landed. My guess is Locke got down to the mysterious Orchid station and accomplished whatever task Jacob and Ben had told him to do by using this station. Time travel maybe? Or maybe the actual dissapearence of the island, i dont know? But whatever it is maybe the O6 got onto the chopper thinking one thing and then after Lockes Orchid experiment happened, they left the island thinking something entirly different. Damn im confusing myself! These holes in the Lost timeline will be filled in during the next couple seasons but for now we must speculate, cause DJ is at a lost for now...
1. Whats the deal with Mr. Paik, Suns dad. Im thinking he has some sort of connection with Widmore and he may have had something to do with Sun and Jin arriving on that island. We will see...
2. Now im confused about this one thing, we saw Jack in the flashforward meet with Clairs mom right? Well i thought in the one Clair flashback when the both of them got in the car crash that her mom had died. I cant really remember or was she just in this long aess coma and she awoke when Clair was on the island or something, idont know... am i getting anywhere?
3. Oh and another thing i want to hit on is maybe my favorite part, when Richard finally returns as he ambushes Kate and Sayid with his horde of Others loaded with guns at their side. We havent seen them all season but here they are looking them same way theyve always had. Richard has become one of my favorite on and off characters because we still dont know exactly who he is. Is he Ben's #2? Well i dont know, we saw him when Locke was a child for gods sake which would make him almost a senior citizin by now, but there he is coming out of the jungle looking the same way he did 50 years ago or soo. So whats his official role/status among the Others? Is he immortal or is he just another ghost of some kind? Im really interested to find out all about this mysterious Other..
4. And i would also like to make one prediction before i go.. i love Juliett's character but unfortunately i see death in her future. I dont know if she will die in the finale or later on but i think its heading that way. We havent seen any sign of her in any of the flashforwards which doesnt mean necessarily that shes going to die but isnt real good for her fate as well. She of all people on the island is one of the ones who wants to get off the most, but right now it doesnt look like thats going to happen. She also seems to be especially worried over Jacks health which leads me to believe that she might die for him.. maybe? Juliett has done alot of bad things and maybe she thinks that she might have to go to extreme lengths in order to redeem herself. Ahhh that probably was a bad prediction im sorry i tried :)
Anyway one thing i loved alot about this episode was the perfect dropback music at the beginning and the end of the episode. I loved the ending where they showed where all the characters were heading with the look of fear in their eyes. None of them know what is going to happen next and neither do we. The music captivates their mood and the mood of the show perfectly. Sooo my friends no Lost this week so i will have to endulge myself in a helping of some Indiana Jones! That will get my mind off of a weekless Lost. Again please respond to anything i said that you believe is interesting or terribly wrong, i love the feedback. DJ will be with all of you again May 29th, if you want BIG Lost party at my house!!! VIP's include JJ Abrahms, Jeff Jenson, Lebron James, and yours truly. I cant wait for the finale. So i bid you all a farewell. Namaste! DJkallen Out!!

Claires Mom was in a coma. I was surprised too. Even more with the events surrounding John Locke's childhood/upbringing. Lost is definitely a great show!
