In spite of working way too much this week (yay summer?), I've now managed to watch "There's No Place Like Home" (Pts. 2&3) three times, which I think makes me finally qualified to comment on such. Problem is, I don't have comments so much as questions, so....
I know this is from the extended part 1, but why were the additional 3 survivors of the initial crash identified as Boone, Libby, and Charlie? Does Jack have a reason for this, or was it random? I can't help but note that all are characters whom after their deaths appeared to another character in a vision (Boone to Locke, Libby to Michael, and Charlie to Hurley, natch). Think we'll get any elaboration on this?
Why does Hurley lie to Walt about Michael? If Walt was visited by "Jeremy Bentham", he's probably clued in to a lot of things, so shouldn't he know that Michael "can go now"? And I know he's a teenager, but why would he think any of the O6 would visit him? I feel like he's smart enough to know it would draw attention to him.
Speaking of Bentham, does Locke's change in name denote a change in philosophy? Historically, the real philosophers weren't really each other's doppelgangers, per se.
Is Claire dead? I think she probably is, since only crazy people with visions have seen her since that explosion, but you never know. Rumor has it an actress who's been on the show since season one won't be in season five, but will return for six. My bet's on Emilie de Ravin, who's always been underused anyway.
As for other questionably dead people, is Jin dead? I'm in what I like to call "Charlie denial" with this--you see, last season I was all "Charlie's not dead! He could swim out that porthole and be fine!" until Darlton was all "no really guys, he's dead". This year my feelings are "Jin could have totally survived the freighter explosion and swam back to the island before Ben moved it--like Sun said, you couldn't see anything from up there!". Besides, they haven't confirmed his death yet, soooo....? I'm also not convinced that Sun thinks he's dead either. Do I smell motivation to go back to the island?
Also with Sun--is she after Ben or Locke? They both leave the island, and I think either would be a reasonable target for her and Widmore.
And for Widmore--could he be Ben's predecessor? Maybe he moved the island last, but thinks he can go back anyway. I also wouldn't be shocked to find out he's Tovard Hanso, which leads me to my somewhat http://www.timelooptheory.com/ inspired theory of where the island went.....same place, different time. Juliet, Sawyer, Rose, Bernard, Miles, Charlotte, Locke, Richard & co., and whoever else is left are in the same location, but in the future. Something to elaborate on later in the summer when I'm bored out of my skull from lack of new TV.
Since moving the main island also moved the hydra station island, were Dan and his Zodiac full of survivors also moved with it? I hope so--I am so not done with Charladay! I also think Charlotte is a time-traveling Annie, or Annie's daughter with Ben, or something crazy like that. And speaking of Charlotte, I have to note--for some reason, Rebecca Mader has never felt right in that role. And while it seemed cool at the time, I don't think Kristen Bell would have worked either. I realized while watching some Alias that my ideal casting would have been Rachel Nichols, the would-be Sydney replacement character. Underrated and capable of being badass and vulnerable at the same time. But I'm nit-picking.
Just one more nit-picky thing--how are they feeding Aaron without Claire? He's too young for food, little babies like that need to be nursed or have a bottle. Is he too superhuman to need food?
Why doesn't Claire want Aaron to go back? What does she know? Will he ever go back? Will any of the O6 (where did Sayid take Hurley?)? Will Walt? I kinda think either Walt or Aaron will replace Locke.
Will we see more of Desmond and Penny? Their reunion is officially my favorite moment in the history of television (yes, Alias included-be shocked!). I was shaking and sobbing with glee. No kiss has ever been so beautiful, perfect, earned. I'll miss them if this is where their story ends, and both need some Emmy recognition.
Why does Locke leave, and what goes wrong? Does his leaving mean that Sawyer, Juliet, etc. can leave too? Man, I hope so! I'm not up for a bunch of rum beach parties, personally.
Finally, I have to make a couple Alias connections, because I am a nerd like that. Freezing the bomb's battery with liquid nitrogren took me back to Alias's series finale, with Tom blasting a bomb with the stuff until his goodbye to Rachel and the explosion. Also, and again, connecting to the series finale, Ben in the frozen donkey wheel room was soooo Sloane in that frozen cavern in Mt. Subasio.
Alright, that's all for now. Thoughts?

Personnally Desmond might be my favorite character so i hope he returns! My theory... is that Jack and the O6 will want to go back and so previously Penny had that trackind device so she probably knows where the island was originally so as a favor from the both of them penny and des will take them back to see if the island has returned? Maybe? i hope..

Hey Counteragent! Long time no see-are you done with finals?
I agree with pretty much everything you said. I think Widmore has previously moved the island and would not be surprised in the slightest if he was Hanso. I think Locke has also moved the island.
I totally dig the idea that the island has moved to a different time, and wonder if the skeletons in the cave from S1 have anything to do with it.
The Desmond-Penny reunion was excellent and my favorite moment of the finale. Desmond is my favorite. I just hope this doesn't mean bad news for them ( I am sure it does though).
