Okay, so I've been missing the show and the trio so I cooked this up..hope you enjoy it like I did!!!

"Cameron!",  John rushed to the door to hug her.  Cameron's eyes are wide.  "It's me John...Oh my God, you're alive! How...?"

Sarah looks out at the street. "John, take her inside."

When Cameron passed Sarah, she said "Mom...I won't kiss you." Which made Sarah smile nonetheless.

"I can't believe this", John said, shaking his head.  "How did you..?"

"We're programmed to repair ourselves."

"I know but, do you even remember what happened?"

"I blew up."

"Yah, you did.  So how...?"

"Even one component can..."

"But we didn't find any.  Mom and I scoured the place & there was nothing of you there."

"There was.  You just didn't see it."

"You mentioned before about having a new skin thus a new face."

"Yes, that's right."

"So why do you look exactly the same as before?"

Cameron tilted her hand to the right.  "My old face was tight."  John grinned.

"This is freaking amazing!  Derek wouldn't believe this when he sees you."

"Derek?"

"Yes, you remember Derek Reese, my uncle."

"Derek Reese, brother of Kyle Reese.  I remember.  He doesn't like me."

"I still don't", said a voice on the doorway.  "Where did that thing came from?"

"It doesn't matter", John said, his voice hard, "what's important is that she's here now."

"How can you even be sure that's the same thing?  Maybe it's another cyborg which impersonates...God! impersonates," Derek smirked.

John looked at his mom standing beside Derek, a shadow of doubt in his eyes.  He turned to look at Cameron whose head is tilted sideways, eyes wide, looking at Derek.

"Cameron", asked John and she turned to look at him, "what's the name of the guy who asked you to the prom?"

Derek let out a snort & Sarah a choked laugh.

"Someone asked that to the prom?", Derek asked.  John looked at his uncle, eyes sparkling with suppressed anger.

"Cameron?"

"Morris.  He has a tattoo he got from a Bjork concert."

John smiled, satisfied.

"That doesn't prove anything." Derek said. "Look John, are we going to take the risk?  We don't know for sure if it's the same robot.  We survived 3 months without it. We don't need it."

"Maybe you don't", John bit out, "but I do."

Derek look to say something more but Sarah stopped him.  "Derek."  Derek raised his hand in mock surrender.  "Your choice.  I leave you 3 to catch up."

Later that night, John, thirsty, went to the kitchen.  Cameron stood near the sink, watching the windows.  John took the milk bottle from the ref & poured himself a glass.  "Still watching the windows huh?"

"I don't sleep."

Cameron looks at the glass of milk John is gulping down.  "Want some?", teased John.

"Yes."  John took another glass & poured some for her.  "Thank you." Cameron said before draining the glass.  John looks at her, shakes his head, still amazed.  Cameron returned to her watchful stare at the window.

"I missed you", John said after a while.

"Why?"

"I don't know.  I guess I got used to you being around, you k now.  Then when you were gone...I thought I'd never see you again."

Both were silent.  Then Cameron, still looking out the window said, "I missed you too John."

John said, "No you didn't.  You're just saying that...", he shook his head.  "You can't miss me."

"But I did.  When I reassembled."

"You can't, Cameron, you can't feel that because you....", John  hesitates.

"Tin man.  He doesn't have a heart."

John nods.

"Mom calls me Tinmiss."  She looked out the window again.  There was something on her face that John can't fathom, being it impossible.   She turned to look at John.

"I don't have a heart.  But I have a mind.  When you miss someone, you want to see that someone."

John nods.

"I wanted to see you."  For a moment, they looked into each other's eyes.

"And mom.  But not Derek Reese." John smiled.

"What are you 2 talking about?", asked Sarah entering the kitchen.

"She said she missed us."  Sarah raised her eyebrows.  "But not Derek.  Mother and son grinned.

"The feeling is mutual," Derek said opening the ref.  Cameron turned back to watching the windows.  Sarah looked at John, rolling her eyes.  Noticing the empty milk bottle on the table, she asked her son, "Did you drink all that?"

"No, she had some."

"A milk-drinking cyborg.  What do you need the sustenance for?"

Cameron turned her head to look directly at Derek.  "Don't mock me."

"Why? I might hurt your feelings?  Oh wait, I forgot, you don't have any."

With a last glance at her nemesis, she retreated to the living room where she continued her watch.  Derek, laughing, left mother and son.

"He's got to leave her alone, Mom."

Sarah shook her head, exasperated.  Then, looking at Cameron, she told John, "She acts even more...robotic.  Too mechanical."

"I know.  I noticed that too, the head, the arms.  But there's something else Mom."

"What?"

"She's like, I know this may sound absurd but, she's like, she can like, I don't know, feel?"

"Feel?"

"Yeah, just now when we she said she misses us.  I told her she can't miss us 'cause you know tinman and all that.  Then she said when you miss someone you want to see that someone and she said she wanted to see us.  And have you noticed, she calls you Mom."

"Give it time John, she's only been here a day."

"And there was this weird look on her face when she said "Mom calls me tinmiss".  It's crazy but she actually looked hurt."

"John."

"I know, it's insane.  You know what else she told me?"

"What?"

"Her buildday."

"Buildday?"

"Her birthday sort of, she not being born but build."

"And when is supposed to be her buildday?"

"June 13.  The day she was reassembled."

Mother and son stared at Cameron.

John said, almost in a whispher, "She almost seems like she wants to be...human."
