Post WGA Strike: Was it Worth it?

Now that the WGA Strike is over, our favorite tv shows are finally getting back to work. Actors are acting writers are writing and showrunners are showrunning(?), and now we have to survey the damage. A 4 month long strike was solved in a matter of what? 2 weeks? it amazes me and really makes you  wonder why they couldnt of just finsihed it all in December, but its cool, whatever, im happy. Pros of this strike include sick new deals for writers(which i'm all for) and probably much cheaper tv dvd's this year around (under 20 bucks for 12 episodes. right? right?!?!) It just makes you wonder what coulda/woulda/shoulda have happened had they solved this a couple months back. Granted, i'm happy as a clam to get 4/5 new episodes of Lost, B&S, DH, Supernatural, 30 Rock, The Office, Greys and more. And the fact that i wont be biting my fingernails over whether Pushing Daisies, Chuck and Dirty Sexy Money would get a second season makes me wanna do cartwheels (whick would probably lead to a concussion, but whatever.) But i keep on asking myself: Would Heroes's next volumetitled "Villains" make up for its sizable sophmore slump (i'm talking Wonder Twins, making Kristen Bell look like she can't act, and more)? Would we actually have gotten a quality 24 this year? Would we be having a full season of Friday Night Light instead of just 15 and now biting our fingernails on the fate of the whole entire show (the only thing more annoying than reading Ben Silverman's comments on FNL in Radar Online- see link at bottom- is listening to my dad saying "Sarah Connor" in an Arnold Schwarzzenegger-esque voice while i'm watching Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles)? These are just a few question i ask myself, and in the end, we all know it was worth it, especially since now we know that we will have Fringe and Dollhouse to keep us company next fall on Fox.

I am stoked that the strike is over. I was terrified of what I would be willing to have to watch when all new programming ended and an influx of embarassingly moronic reality shows took over. Most of the shows you mentioned I do watch but I liked Pushing Daisies. I also have faith the the next season of Heroes will make up for the shortened but entertaining season 2.
