The Dexter Model

How do we all feel about CBS's decison to move Dexter to the mothership during the strike?  Has it been a ratings bonanza?  Why didn't other networks follow this model?

It would have been a great chance for NBC to expose Burn Notice to a new audience.  Fox could have been better served by trying to bring Damages to a larger audience than rerunning the same episodes Back to You.  ABC Family has loads of shows that no one has ever seen.  Why not give them a shot at the big time?

I have not watched Dexter on Showtime (would like to though) but I would definitely not get into it on CBS. I do love your ideas of other networks picking up their cousin cable channel shows. Burn Notice and Damages are excellent, I mean excellent, TV.
