So stripper David Hernandez is gone. Can't say as I'm surprised, although I would have put money on Kristy Lee Cook. I think this is the public's way of rejecting AI producer's hypocrisy. That whole story bugged me. It just seemed very hypocritical of AI to have booted Frenchy after they discovered topless pics of her on the internet, and yet the guy who gets singles slipped into an oily g-string can keep on keepin' on??? WTF?? (yes, I just wrote "keep on keepin' on" - feel free to quote it) Although I'm certainly not going to be the first to defend AI's unblemished reputation of ethics. (wow, that just felt wrong typing)
The bottom three was not a shock. I imagine KLC and Sayesha are going fairly soon. After them it will be more complicated - there may be some more talented people leaving earlier than they should because it's a "popularity competition" not a "talent competition," as Simon so aptly said Tuesday.
I can't go without addressing the 2nd week of Lennon-McCartney songs. What the hell is up with that?? I thought they intentionally chose a variety of genres to test the vocalists and see what they can do with different types of songs. And not to continue the besmearing of AI's infallible record of honor, but I often wonder who they're setting up to win with these changes. I suppose time will tell.
Oh wait, one more tidbit - God I love Paula. Nice silver jacket - girl's got bling. I'm not sayin' it's good bling, but there you have it. I didn't stick around to see if she cried - did she? Although why would she? Now she can legitimately bone David H since he's not in the competition anymore. ALTHOUGH.... Was I the only one who was really uncomfortable with David and Ryan on the stage together alone? Didn't it seem like two gay guys desperately trying to act straight but "knowing" neither are? Maybe it's just me. (Thank God Ryan's not Tom Cruise - we'd all get sued)

NOT. I hate bigots. Considering that David H was consistently and massively better on every level than several of the contestants (Chikezie, Kristi, and Syesha for examples), dumping David H at the first little stumble is just... hateful and crappy.

First of all, Frenchie was on a skeezy underaged porn site, and she didn't divulge this to the producers. David was doing something completely legal, and did tell the producers. Big difference.
Second, can you honestly say that Kristy Lee Cook performed better than David? No. Everyone knows she's horrible. David was a talented performer but fell victim to having one bad performance combined with bad press. I wish I'd voted; I'd have voted for him because he deserved to stay on.
Third, I agree about the Beatles thing. Once was enough.
Last, I won't even dignify the "gay" thing with a response.
