What I Will Not Be Watching, Ever

I won't lie: I've spent a good portion of my life watching idiots humiliate themselves on VH1. Flavor of VD, Rock of VD, Charm School, I Love New York, Scott Baio is Old and Needs Money, Celebrity Rehab, My Fair Brady, The Agency, The Pickup Artist, The Shot, America's Next Dumb Model...my god, I've watched it all. I've even been known to watch episodes of Hogan Knows Best and Celebrity Fit Club, when it's the only thing on. (And then there was that Mission: Man Band period of my life, which I'd rather not discuss, thank you very much.) The bottom line is, I'm VH1's b**ch. But I will not ever, no matter how bored, never ever watch I Know My Kid's A Star. Showbiz Moms and Dads was bad enough (Duncan Nutter, anyone?), but turn it into a competition with prizes, hosted by Danny Bonaduce, for crying out loud, and I really think VH1's gone too far. I just hope VH1 will pay the kids' inevitable therapy bills. Hey, in five years, maybe they can all spend some time with Dr. Drew at the Pasadena Recovery Center.

Agreed. I'm all for exploiting washed up celebrities and dumb people, but helping psychotic parents exploit their children is too much for me.

Caught a part as was flipping around and...it was BEYOND a horrible trainwreck!!!

This "mother" if you can even call her that, was more worried about what she looked like than her daughter. Her girl said she waned to practice alone & she wouldn't even let her. She had to have control as if the little girl would do everything wrong w/ out her. In the end I hear her kid choked.

If I'd been eating, I'd have choked too. Shameless exploitation of living through your children, many with no talent. Will NEVER watch it again. 5 mins will last a lifetime.
