I think the person who is in the coffin is Sayid. Here's my reason why. 1. Sayid's last name is Jarrah. According to Jack's newspaper he read in "Through the Looking Glass" the person has a J name. 2. According to Damon and Carlton, the person who has died is a member of the elite Oceanic Six. Sayid is a member of that group. 3. Every single member of the Oceanic Six has connected with another member in their flashforward. Not Sayid. His only Island connection is with Ben. Maybe, his new alliance with Ben might have set them off, even though he is doing it to protect them. 4. Kate is frustrated that Jack would go to the deceased's funeral. Maybe they don't like Sayid. Now. it's time for my even crazier theory. Sayid can't connect to any of the people without Ben knowing. Ben is like that credit card company, he's everywhere you want to be. Anyway, he probably told Sayid not to speak one word. As long Sayid does his bidding (ie killing the people off of his list, who probably work for Widmore.) the remaining 5 members of the O6 remain alive. Sayid probably got fed up being Ben's puppet and quit and he found himself on the wrong side of the gun (AGAIN). I think that Sayid's death will be the catalyst for the Oceanic Six to return to the Island . All right, that's my crazy theory. I want to hear everyone's thoughts on it.
