Hi.  :::waves:::  I'm Carrie and I'm a huge tv fan/freak/junkie.  Any one of those terms applies.  If I'm not watching tv, I can either be found reading, working at the bookstore, or at the movies with my fellow movie fans. 

I like a wide variety of shows.  Just when a show ends and drops off my list, it seems I always find another to take its place.  So my tv plate is ever full.  When asked about my favorite tv show, I am hard pressed to give an answer.  My favorite can change depending on the mood I'm in or what I've just watched.  I do have to say that LOST has been a running favorite since it first debuted.  And if I must name a current top five, 24, Heroes, Supernatural, and Jericho would join it.

 As for the latter, I am saddened by the loss of this great show.  I came late to the Jericho fold, watching the DVDs of the first season this fall.  I was hooked immediately and couldn't wait for this season to resume.  I did my part, convincing a few people to watch the show.  But alas, the show was doomed from the start.  A bad timeslot and a short seven-episode run plagued the show, handicapping it before it even started airing.  I'm hoping that another network will pick it up (I'm talking to you, SciFi!!), but I'm almost afraid to put much stock in that.  It was such a great show, populated with vibrant, likable characters, people that you wanted to know, people that you believed were worth fighting for.  If it doesn't come back, I'm going to miss Stanley and Mimi.  I'm going to miss Heather and all her optimism.  I'm going to miss Major Beck and all his nobility.  I'm not going to miss Emily...never did like her.  Most of all, I'm going to miss Jake and Hawkins, the most awesome duo ever to start a civil war.  This unlikely duo was so awesome they put awesome to shame.  Awesome wishes it was as awesome as Jake and Hawkins.  :::sigh:::  Hopefully, this mourning is premature, but if it isn't, I'm going to miss that town and its people.
