OK we all know that someone has to be eliminated each week and with all the talent that is left it is going to become more and more difficult.  But I am seeing that this possibly could be turning into a popularity contest and not a talent contest.  There is no doubt who the two front runners were this week.  David Cook #1 and Michael Johns #2.  Plus why did American Idol allow Carly to be in the competition in the first place?  They say no professionals only amateurs.  She is NOT an amateur.  She was a professional singer in Ireland and cut CD's that sold over there.  I had someone do research and she was known.  I do not think this is fair at all to the other contestants even though there are those that are better than her.  Everyone has their favorites but I truly vote for the person that was the best performer of the night and many times I might add because I feel they deserve it.
