So, I know that I'm WAY behind the level of Lost-hood that most of you in this group is. I finally committed myself to a marathon last weekend and have made my way through the first season and like 5 episodes into the second. 

But... WOW!

This show is so good. It's like creepy good. And by 'creepy' good, I mean like 'John Locke' good.  

I've just been introduced to the members of the tail section, and they look good and weirded out. I'm not sure where that Desmond guy ran off to, but the whole thing with Hurley and the numbers on the hatch and the computer and the thing with the thing. Wow.

I just have one thing to say that I hope is safe from spoiler danger- but I don't really know... Polar Bears?

There's a lot of weird stuff I've seen on that show, and if I was living on that island, there'd be PLENTY to digest and talk about, but why isn't anyone freaking out about the polar bears. Not for nothing, but if I shot a polar bear, or hid in a bunch of trees from a polar bear, stabbed a polar bear with a knife, or just *saw* a polar bear on an island like that, I would be f-rea-king out.

It's a good thing I'm not on that island. That's the only thing I would ever talk about. 

"Dude, there's, uh, this hatch that Locke found, in the jungle. It's got these... numbers etched into it that, uh, I kind of used to win the lottery. It's pretty weird."

"Yeah that is weird, but... that was a polar bear!?!?!?"
