No one better sing "I Will Always Love You."

J. and E. Blogging Live:

It's Dolly Parton night. The cockroach is still in the competition and this theme is right up her alley. J. and E. are back to bring you our thoughts as inane and instantaneous as they can be. J: Hmmm... April Fool's Joke... I think so.

E: She (Dolly Parton, of course) is phenomenal onstage. She just draws you in.

J: Is it her giant breasts (since EW won't let me say the other, elementary school b--word)?.

E: Well, yeah, that's part of it.

Brooke White sings "Jolene"

E: I'm nervous, I don't know if Brooke can have that mean streak.

J: Ah, she's trying to show us how tough she is with her eye convulsions.

E: I think I would have liked it if I didn't have to look at her.

J: She was kind of awkward.

Randy says he's not sure, Paula said good emotional connection, Simon thinks the opposite and said no emotion and that she was "busking her way through."

E: I agree. She was trying to be hard, but she just played faster. She can't stop being a big ball of sunshine.

E: David Cook is trying to save his butt by acknowledging where those arrangements came from.

David Cook sings "Little Sparrow."

E: He's making a Dolly Parton song into a Phil Collins song?

E: He sounded amazing, but it was just a little boring.

Randy says another hot performance, Paula likes his haircut.

E: Maybe Paula's right, maybe it was just weird to hear a guy sing that song.

J: Does Ramiele even know who Dolly Parton is?

Ramiele Maluby singing something upbeat.

E: And again, what is she wearing?

J: Can someone please pass on the memo that these high-waisted outfits just do not look good on her?

E: Dang, she picked the right song for her. We are never going to get rid of her.

Randy wasn't jumping up and down, but he wasn't mad either. Paula is proud. Simon pulls out the 'ole cruise ship line.

J: I feel Ramiele may be a cute little cockroach larvae in the making. The ones we despise never go away.

Jason Cook singing "Traveling Through." J: Ooooo, I know this song. I'm excited.

E: Can't go wrong with bongos.

E: I think I'm buying this on iTunes. Yeah, I have too.

Randy says pretty good with a "singer-songwriter vibe," Paula loved it said one of the best, Simon didn't like it as says he lost his season pass to Dollywood.

E: Simon is wrong.

J: Good thing he wouldn't be caught dead in Dollywood anyway.

Carly Smithson singing "Here You Come Again." E: Something's just not there.

Randy says one of the better performances of the night, Paula says "Oh My God," and then freaks the heck out, Simon said good not great and comments on the wardrobe.

E: You know I kind of got to agree, red pants?

Any one else terrified by the image of "little" David and Kristy Lee waving all Stepford-like at the camera.

David Archuleta singing "Smoky Mountain Memories"

Dolly Parton says she could feel his "little" emotion.

E: Another mature song.

E: He's going to hit it out of the park though.

J: I got chills.

Randy says performance of the night, Paula loves his aura, Simon says "absolutely on the money."

J: I'm back in love, and I forgive him for last week.

E: I'm still convinced that he is not going to be able to sell millions of records.

Kristy Lee Cook singing "Code of Many Colors."

E: So, she stole Syesha's dress from last week.

J: I'm convinced that she is forcing that country twang, because she needs it for her image.

E: Where are her shoes?

E: She just can't follow David Archuleta. Boooooring. Next.

Randy says country is her thing, Paula says gorgeous, Simon says pleasant, yet forgettable. Ryan refuels rumors and comments on her french pedicure.

Syesha is going to be singing "I will always love you."

Collective scream!

E: I thought if anyone was stupid enough to sing that it was Ramiele. She could hit a homerun and still not touch Dolly or Whitney.

Vanna White! Can I buy a vowel?

E: Why is she sitting on a piano?

J: This is not a cabaret lounge.

E: Wow. She actually sounds good.

E: Oh wait. no. She went into the wheel house. I am done. Honey, you are not Whitney Houston.

Randy says pretty good, but not sure if he can hear someone else sing that song. Paula once again comments on looking good, and says her voice is growing. Simon liked the first part, but not the end; he says good, but not fantastic.

J: I least she wasn't forgettable, like some certain cockroaches we know.

E: I think she would have had me sold if she had kept it soft the whole way through.

E: So I guess Michael Johns is closing the night. Sounds good.

J: What song is he going to sing? I can't imagine what he's going to sound like singing Dolly.

Singing "It's all wrong, but it's all right."

E: I'm so glad the world is getting to see he can sing something other than Queen.

J: E. just did a hallelujah "ahhh."

Randy loved it, Paula quickly says "you're a star," and Simon says it's his best yet.

J:Well, Dolly Parton night was at least more cohesive than last week. There were no complete disasters.

E: I think Kristy Lee, Ramiele, and Syesha need to be worried. And if America really screws up, Carly should be a little nervous.

J: Agreed. I think it's obvious now who I would prefer to go home. As far as performance of the night, I think Michael Johns takes the Crown and "little' David is the prince.

J: I just hope there are no huge surprises Wednesday night. I can't take that much stress right now.
