I just finished Collision- the one where the survivors of the tail section make it back to the camp. I watched the last five minutes of it three times, and I’m thinking about watching it again.
I’m still in midst of my marathon, but I am amazed how well Lost episodes end. Take away all the cliffhangers- and boy do they have cliffhangers- but they have this great talent for swelling up the music, showing everything in slow motion and just watching the characters looking at each other.
I still don’t know that much about Rose and Bernard, but watching them come together was not only good, it was ‘the arrivals gate at Heathrow airport’ good.
I can’t imagine what it must be like to have to wait for a whole week to see what happens next...
I'm not superstitious, but I am a little...stitious.

Torture. Pure torture!
But one positive to waiting between weeks (and between commercial breaks) is the amount of time we're given to debate over things. Watercooler discussion is half the fun of the show!
But you're right about the endings- Lost creators have a knack for hitting just the right notes at just the right times. And the reunion between Rose and Bernard was definately a season highlight.

Here's hoping you get yourself all caught up in the next 20 days so you can go insane like the rest of us :)
While it was tearfully happy and amazing to see Rose and Bernard reunited, it still kills me to see Sayid and Shannon. Nevermind that they were an awkward, less than believable couple: he was still shattered, and my heart went out to him.

Yeah, the whole 'Shannon disappears about 30 seconds before she really comes into herself' thing was a nice piece of character misfortune.
Quite sad.
And then, just as soon as they show her shot and potentially dying, they COMPLETELY changed story arches to the survivors of the tail wing section. Man oh Man, that must have driven you all crazy.

I do love Rose and Bernard: their occasional fights but innocent and pure love makes them human enough to beat out Sawyer and Kate, Jack and Juliet, or even Pen and Des (I'm still convinced Penny's with her daddy). You bring up a great and completely true statement here, ShaggyDan! Keep up the faithful following, even if you're still catching up with season 2 right now. Never give up!
