NBC Schedule Announced

OK let's do a quick recap of the NBC "infront" (whatever the hell that is): Friday Night Lights and 30 Rock got renewed. Yay! And then lots of bad things happened. They announced a Kath & Kim remake (from Ben Silverman's former production company), the Knight Rider remake (from Ben Silverman's former production company), An Office spinoff (that still no one, not even the people who announced it, have any idea is going to be about...from Ben Silverman's former production company), hour-long Office episodes (because a spin-off and a plum post-Super Bowl ep wasn't enough to milk this to death), a Saturday Night Live spinoff called SNL Thursday Night Live (most redundant title ever), a Merlin remake, a Jekyl & Hyde remake, a Robinson Crusoe remake, and an hour and a half episode of The Biggest Loser (the laws of TV nothing should ever be that long).  Remember when NBC used to air The West Wing and Seinfeld? Yeah me either. At least we have ABC renewing everything even potentially decent (Private Practice, you have the summer to unsuck), ...except Eli Stone (renew it now, ABC!)...and saving other networks leftovers (Scrubs, maybe The New Adventures of Old Christine... woot!). Sure beats a second season (or 97th if you take out [and they really should] the word "celebrity") of Celebrity Apprentice.
