Week 2 of Lost's mini-hiatus continues. And so do the withdrawals. This time I thought I'd do something a little bit different.  I've always wondered who would win in a fight, Sawyer or Jack? Both dudes know how to throwdown if need be. So I got to thinking... And all that thinking got me blogging...

Face Off:

 VS.

Both men have an unrelenting determination to be reunited with the ones they love. It's hard to say who's more desperate. Michael has proven he's willing to kill to get what he wants. For Penny, I have no doubt Desmond would do the same.

• Michael's pros: Art and engineering.
• Micahel's cons: Clouded judgement. Short temper.
• Desmond's pros: Some military training.
• Desmond's cons: Alcohol. Cowardace. 

Face Off:

 VS.  

Arguably the 2 toughest women on the show, Kate and Ana Lucia are both very capable of playing with the big boys. I couldn't resist pairing the fugitive against the cop. For all their differences they have many similarites; like jumping Sawyer.

• Kate's pros: Naturally athletic. Everyone likes her.
• Kate's cons: Thinking she knows what's good for people.
• Ana's pros: Police trained. Strong for her size.
• Ana's cons: Poor judgment. No one likes her.

Face Off:

 VS.

It's hard to find good competition for the great Sayid, but if anyone can take him, Mr. Eko can. The dude is huge! And he has no fear! The soldier-turned-assassin may have met his match in this giant druglord-turned-priest.

• Sayid's: pros: Knowledge in many areas. "Communications."
• Sayid's cons:
• Eko's pros: Size and strength. Virtually fearless.
• Eko's cons: hard to communicate with.

Face Off:

 VS.

If the Others are divided, chances are these two won't be seing eye to eye (yuk yuk). In the red corner wearing blue trunks is Mikhail. A Loyalist to the end. In the blue corner is Pickett. Don't kill his wife, or you'll be sorry!

• Pickett's pros: pretty tough when you've got a taser
• Pickett's cons: without a weapon, he's not much
• Mikhail's pros: Military discipline. 9 lives?
• Mikhail's cons: he may have used them all up

Face Off:

 VS.

I've always felt like Charlie was an underrated major player on the show. Hurley can get a mean streak if you call him too many names. They would never fight, they're best friends! Unless Hurley ate Claire. Or the baby. Then it'd be on!

• Chalire's pros: Underdogged determination. Musical talent.
• Charlie's cons: Can be obsessive. Maybe he's compensating
• Hurley's pros: Fun-loving. Probably stronger than Charlie
• Hurley's cons: Not really the fighting type.

Face Off:

 VS.  

These 2 are the opposite of Kate and Ana Lucia. Claire has gone from "the pregnant one" to the token "damsel in distress." A title previously owned by Ms. Rutherford. Let's say brothers and boyfriends are banned from ringside. One on one, who wins? 

• Claire's pros: At least she didn't sleep with her brother
• Claire's cons: But there's still the matter of that dang baby 
• Shannon's pros: Didn't get prematurely knocked up.
• Shannon's cons: Unless the fight's in France, she's worthless.

There you have it! A fan favorite battle royale. Weigh in on who wins!
