Top 6 Eliminations Episode (a nightmarish preview...)

Ryan: So America, Syesha, Jason and Brooke (crying hysterically) - is your Bottom 3 this week. 

A few minutes later...  

Ryan:  And the person leaving American Idol tonight is... (l.o.n.g pregnant pause)... Jason Castro!

Screams! Boos and someone jolted from their sleep in the dead of the night from this Idol-ish nightmare...

Now picture almost the same thing replacing Jason with either David A/C and we have 2 more nightmares signed and sealed... 

If you agree with me that losing either of the 2 and a Half Men left on Idol would be devastating... well folks, from the "one boy-one girl" eliminations pattern so far, it will help us if we at least mentally prepare ourselves for such a calamity come next week...

My fear is one of the boys might say Bye-bye to AI next week. It will most probably not be that lovable Little Imp... but then, we're basically talking about David Cook and Jason Castro. Now, I practically suffered a seizure when I read about Michael Johns's elimination. And another one is due if David Cook goes... I like Jason Castro. He's serious eye-candy, like literally! He's got one pair of gorgeous orbs! Anyway, I'm digressing... So I will feel bad if Jason goes because besides his cuteness, he's brought something to Idol in terms of his music and his personality that no other contestant has... So he will be missed but not as much as David Cook. David Cook deserves to win this competition! He's talented, innovative, intelligent and if he was at all hot from the beginning, through his roof-shattering renditions of 'Hello', 'Billie Jean' etc, he's now positively smoldering hot! As Randy has noted couple of times, when you see David Cook perform, it's like watching him at his own concert. He's that good...

So here's hoping for a break from the eliminations pattern... and our 2 and a Half Men staying intact! But then... just don't get Carly out! I've come to adore her... she's mad and funny and talented and just great fun! 

A quick word about KLC's elimination...

So finally Her Majesty Miss Cook is out! We have said adieu to the blond country singer, the "mechazilla" of Idolatry (man, I'll miss those videos!) and the serial Bottom 3-er... Like many people, I actually felt slightly, like a wee-bit slightly bad when the results were announced... Kristy took it very well. I think Brooke should tone down a little... she just gets too emotional and suddenly all attention is diverted to her when not planned or intended... I can understand Brooke's anxiety when paired at Bottom 2 with Kristy. She must have been like, "Am I gonna be like so many of those who were  paired with Kristy and got eliminated although she should have...?" We understand Brooke. But just take it easy...!
