Has someone been slipping something into the water of our favorite
pretty people? And no, I don't mean the pretty little crystals
G dropped into S's diet coke. I mean something must be making
other wise very smart people a little dumb. Barring a few exceptions it seems
the night was filled with "Are you kiding me? How can he/she
beleive that?" moments. Let's examine shall we?

1. Serena herself. How could she possibly beleive that Georgina was
going to play nice? I'm thinking that the girl's past speaks for
itself. If that wasn't enough certainly her "gifts" to Serena and
her first night in town would have been evidence enough for me but
not for sweet, trusting Serena. Listen S just because you can change
your stripes doesn't mean this tiger can. Or wants to for that
matter. And now you think she's really going to stay away? What's
that they say about fool me once etc.?

2. Nelly. SO maybe common sense doesn't come along with being a
genius but really!? First she spills about her break up to a girl
she clearly is not friends with, then she believes that Blair
Waldorf wants to have her over just for girltime? It's Blair
Waldorf! You mean to tell me you made it to your junior year
without knowledge of Blair's ways? Or that a girl who has
never talked to you before wants to help you mend your heart?

3. The Humphrey men. Oh boys. How is it that you let the pretty
blonde things in your life walk all over you? Rufus, that boy did
not just show up at your door with the perfect line to feed you.
Jenny was totally dressed to impress! Dan, Serena feed you the same
bull story not once but twice and all you can muster is "Yeah,
I'm sorry too."? And now you look to be putty in G's hands. Tsk Tsk.

SO readers what do you think? Are people really this naive? Am I
just really cynical? Is Chuck turning over a new leaf or is that
naive? Vanessa and Nate!? Do you think the much buzzed about coming
out is Eric or will they really surprise us? And then there is
what's really on everyone's mind, what in the Prada bag did
Serena do?
