I was trying to explain the series to my wife and I realized it was very much like our collective national experience with Iraq. R&J representing another very large corporation which our government is depending on to do its dirty work and an evil executive branch which came to power by "questionable" means. The networks exec's didn't like where this series was going or what was being implied and we were mesmerized by the fictional yet believable story line.
I suppose I have to agree that this was the only way for it to end but I'm still disappointed that it had to get there. America began in revolution and this series ends in it. As all good fiction it tries to give us some incite to our own situation by allowing us to view a similar situation that we can relate to without becoming too emotionally involved. I thank the writers for this opportunity. I hope they can create something else in the future. Maybe a female, African/American who becomes president??? Are we mature enough for this one? Only time will tell.

I have watched Jericho from the beginning. I was happy when they renewed the show. Note the word WAS. I thought this was a survivor show. How did the people survive and start over. I guess that could only go on so long. Now it is a revolution/civil war theme and I am outa here. I can't even imagine going on after Beck went ballistic and the guys are all in hiding. The bomb is lost. Smith is identified, as much as he needs to be. Now, instead of saving Jericho, our heroes are off to save the country. Puleeese!!!! The town wasn't enough for these two? Everything is falling apart and there isn't enough time, money, glue, or more stupid ideas to put this show back together. Like I said, I am in my SUV and headed back to Ohio where I belong.
