Right before I watched this my friend Anna called and said that she had just seen it. She said she thought it was weird and she didn't quite understand it. I get where she is coming from but I thought it was a most excellent episode. I really intrigued by the Doctor's relationship with Prof. River Song. I love that it sort of mirrors the relationship in The Time Traveler's Wife. Who is she to him? A former companion? A love interest? I also like the main story. I've read that this is the beginning of a darkness theme that will usher in the end of the season episodes. So Donna is with the strange girl? How will she get back!? How long till next weekend?

A brilliant episode. I've just seen Forest of the Dead. Amazing. Just simply amazing.

I loved it too. So many unanswered questions. I really like River Song as well but I think that there is much more to her than she is letting on. Part of me thinks that The Doctor might have to choose between saving Donna now and possible future happiness with River.

anyway, speculations aside. Don't you hate when you watch an episode and suddenly 7 days feels like an eternity?
