An amazing episode. Catherine Tate has some extended scenes and her dramatic skills just shine here. We get a bit more about River Song, but it's not what you expect. Bring on Rose!
Oh Collin we still have to get through one more episode until the one we've been waiting for returns. I liked this two parter though and I think there is much more to River Song's story. I can't find anywhere in the Doctor who history and lore where it says under what circumstances The Doctor would tell someone his real name. I think that we might end up seeing more of Donna's 'husband". Maybe it'll factor in to if Donna stays or not(I know but won't say). Next week is suppose to be a Donna-lite episode.
That's a thought. Though why would he say "There is only one reason I would tell her my name." If it were a trust thing wouldn't he know?
Excellent point Rose Tyler. Then I am at a loss for answers. I sure all will be explained in good time, or maybe they'll never explain themselves and we'll be stuck going around in circles trying to make sense of it all! The second option sounds like more fun.
I agree Collin, it was an incredible couple of episodes and Catherine Tate was brilliant.
Maybe the only reason the Doctor told River his name because he knew that it was the only way he would be able to trust her 100 per cent when they met in the library. I hope we see more of Donna's husband, she deserves to find someone lovely.
