Today Matt got his revenge on Ben. After being asssigned to the ladies team, Matt helped them win a service. Offered the ultimate compliment by Chef Ramsey, Matt was told he delivered "the best rosatto to come out of Hell's Kitchen". Matt was beaming with pride. He was also reveling in the abuse served to Ben throughtout the evening.
For once Ben had no one to blame and went down hard. He had the same old excuses ready & could't get himself on track. He single handedly brought the rest. to a screeching hault.
Realizing he would probably go home, Ben came up w/ a plan. He enlisted LouRoss& Bobby, trying also to persude Petrozza to all vote for each other. The result would be they'd all nominated someone up for elimination. Would only spare Ben, no one else benefiting from the statedgy. But Petrozza being honest, couldn't do it. Ben went home. Easiest decision Chef Ramsey has had to make yet!
Had the girls lost, Rosanna would've gone home for sure. Besides being slow, she couldn't seem to cook seafood tonight. It was raw or burnt w/ no in between. She'd better do something about herself before the next dinner service or it will be her last! Ramseys' got his eye on her.
Jen also has reason to fear! Ramsey was all over her in the kitchen. She started behaving immaturely, pouting after being yelled at. It only got worse as it spured on Ramseys' wrath. She ignored him & that only makes it worse. Jen was the strongest member of the team, and now her flaws are showing.
Next week a female will be joining the male team to even out numbers, since 3 guys to 5 "ladies". Jen appears to be chosen(wisely b/c the girls want to be rid of her) to join the men. Will she clash w/ them or be able to pull the team together for once?
I'm soo glad to see Ben gone. All he did was pass the blame & screw everything up. Last week I'd been disappointed Matt didn't go home, but he proved himself this week. It's as if he'd learned to cook for the first time! Matt changed my mind about him staying. I'm surprised, to say the least.

I'm kinda bummed to see Ben gone. He seemed like a cool guy. The rest of the chef's really get on my nerves. (Luross seems cool too). But you definately said it, Ben had no one to blame, the same old excuses, and single-handedly brought down the blue kitchen.
Remember to keep it clean. Bad words will get filtered, and offensive comments will be removed.
