How does "Sarah Conner" finish out?

Quite well, I think.
Though the big "2-hour" season finale was really just the last two episodes run back to back, (they couldn't have used the extra last week?) Terminator TV held up strong.
They didn't end as action-packed as I hoped (In fact, I thought they were unneccessarily slow last night) there were definately some nice moments. Here's some of the stuff I liked:
T-888 Vision: via the chip Cam jacked from the other Term, we were able to see through his eyes, as he played house with the wife while trying to dig up information. Neat to watch, visually. Also kinda creepy (good use of reflections/ mirrors).
There was also a scene where Cromartie storms in on the boys' shower at school. The gym coach called him names and got slammed against a wall. I amused by all of this.
Happy Birthday, John: We're busy trying to stop the apocalypse, but Derek finds time to take John out for "ice cream." They watch two kids playing catch in a park when Conner realises that it's his father (!) they are visiting. What a sweet little moment. Best scene of the season if you ask me.
Slaughterhouse (Motel) 6: In the big confrontation, Ellison leads the FBI on an assault on Kester/Laszlo/Cromartie. The camera shot is from in the pool looking up, as body after body plummets into the water- very nicely done! More violence please, but next time, lose the Johnny Cash soundtrack.
Why didn't the terminator kill Ellison? I wish he had- it just didn't make sense to me. He kills that other lady detective, but who cares? Note to the producers: take more risks.
That really attractive Latino girl showed up again. That little girl from Bridge to Terabithia had a nice little scene. She's the daughter of some guy named Sarkissian. Turns out he's the real bad guy because...
KAAABBOOOOMMM!!! In the last scene, Cameron steps into a car, turns the key, and is blown to kingdom come! Loved it! In organized crime they call that "The godfather's kiss."
We know she's not dead, but if The Sarah Conner Chronicles doesn't return, it was a nice way to finish out. B

I hope it comes back - even with all of its flaws, I think the show has potential.

LOVED the big confrontation scene (watching from beneath the surface of the water). It was really well done, but like you said poor song choice. Great song, but not right for the scene.
