I normally would not like a movie ending with the two main characters singing a song, but this is definitely an exception. The lyrics were hilarious but sweet, and allowed the audience to leave the movie in a feel-good, perky mood.

Not that it wasn't cute, but I didn't think the song was necessary. Personally, I'd have ended the movie with Vanessa holding the baby--it felt like the logical endpoint, whereas the bike ride and song continuation just felt like an afterword. It already was established that Juno and Bleeker would be happy together, so why throw more on top of it?

Well of course it wasn't necessary, but I still think it was the perfect way to end it. There are so many things in Juno that one could question, but really in the end that is why everybody likes it so much-- it's dares to be different. The movie begins with Juno walking around drinking a huge jug of Sunny D to make her go pee. I think that ending the movie with an awkward, happy-go-lucky song is just the Juno way (and I'm a big fan of the Juno way). No doubt, ending the movie with Vanessa holding the baby would have been a good ending... it just wouldn't have been a Juno ending. And I loved the lyrics, as well.

The overly sweet guitar duet was inconsistent with the rest of the movie--if there was a lot of emphasis on Juno and Bleeker playing adorable little indie songs together throughout the film, it would have made sense, but there wasn't and it doesn't. It just feels silly, obligatory, and tacked on, and dumbs down the audience. I thought the music in the movie was obnoxious, and didn't fit with Juno's character. No girl used to the raw power of Iggy and the Stooges should have to put up with something so cute. The Moldy Peaches aren't exactly fitting with the Juno way, they just appeal to indie hipsters who only think they're as cool as Juno. Nothing is different or unique about the song; rather, it's just a mainstreaming and capitalization on an underserved market as well as young people who want to think they're more original than they actually are, like everyone who started listening to The Shins because Zach Braff said they'll change your life.

Tell me how you really feel, haha.
This entire movie, for me, is awkward. ...But not a bad awkward, a good one. Juno and Bleeker don't fit together, the music is a little corny, and I believe that in one part of the movie Juno refers to a group of tracksters running a "sausage fest". Yet, together this makes Juno, Juno.
I can't tell you what type of music to like, but anybody who likes indie music has the right to like it no matter what their reasoning is. I had a goth girl in my class who loves country music, and who am I to tell her not to listen to it?
And if you ask me, Juno's way is simply not having a way.

I like the part with the credits. That seems like the best way to end any movie.

I, too, am a big fan of the Juno way.

Wow, seriously? Apparently going to class means forfeiting my turn. I'm really glad TVFan gives like, a 2 hour warning.
