I am not arguing that the Killers are good, but rather that they are better than Fall Out Boy and Panic at the Disco... especially in EVERY way possible. No, no, no.

Fall Out Boy's charm is most definitely not blatantly sexual. To begin with, I don't think of them as sexual at all and they are my favorite band. Also, Fall Out Boy's lyrics are amazing (more so, in my opinion, than The Killers). On top of this, Stump's vocals are FAR more superior than The Killers. The Killers might be more unique, but I'm not even sure on that. FOB has also used their fame for numerous causes: Rock for Darfur, Invisible Children, the presidential election, global warming... I'm sure if I wanted to I could provide you with even more. They even went as far as going to Uganda and filming their music video for I'm Like a Lawyer to raise awareness about the war. Fall Out Boy is also amazing with their fan base. Blogs, merch, Q&A... you name it. And now their playing in Antarctica as to have played in all the continents. If nothing else, that right there is an accomplishment The Killers do not have under their belt.
The Killers, while good, are not better than these bands in "every way possible".

Thank you, and I do see where you are coming from (with the uniqueness of the Killers, as well as the fact that they are a good band), but I would still have to disagree with Panic at the Disco.

Truthfully, I think Panic at the Disco is just as unique as the Killers, but possibly even more so. I have heard the Killers' style before, but Panic at the Disco brings two completely different types of music to the table: techno/electronica and punk. Truly they do not seem like they would mesh, but for Panic they did. And the whole old-style circus vibe they have going on is quite unique as well (and as well portrayed by the Killers if I remember correctly). I must also mention the fact that Panic at the Disco is headlining the Honda Civic Tour this year (a tour headlined last year by Fall Out Boy). Truly, I believe Panic and the Killers are quite similar in some aspects.

Even if this were not so, however, I would still argue your point due to the Fall Out Boy mention. I have already listed my reasoning on that, and I stick with what I've said. And even though you have revised, I must say that I include that in my argument, as you do include FOB in your throwdown statement.

Yeah, I'm honestly not very strong on my Panic argument, although I like Panic better than the Killers. But I do agree that the Killers are a good band, and they definitely do bring something new to the charts.
