"The One Where Everyone Finds Out" is the best Friends episode.

Let just let the highlights speak for itself.
-Phoebe trying to seduce Chandler.
-Ross, Phoebe, and Rachel screaming like schoolgirls.
-"They don't know that we know they know we know."
-Joey ripping Phoebe's shirt.
-Chandler saying that he loves Monica
-Ross getting out of his clothes to ensure getting Ugly Naked Guy's apartment.
-Ross almost getting his job back before seeing Chandler and Monica from the window and screaming at them.
The whole scheming planned by Phoebe and Rachel was great. This is by far the best episode.

Easily a fabulous episode, I agree, but very hard to say the best. In a previous throwdown I argued with my favorite episode, but I won't do that here. I'll simply list some others that voters can consider in their choice of best episode:
- Any of the episodes in Barbados
- "The One With the Red Sweater"
- "The One With the Rumor" (Brad Pitt guest stars as a member of the 'I Hate Rachel' club)
- "The One With the Memorial Service" (Ross and Chandler posting on the alumni website, Chandler posting that Ross is dead)
- "The One With the Mugging" (Phoebe and Ross find out that she mugged him years and years before)
- "The One With All The Cheesecakes"
And a ton of others. TOW Phoebe's cookies, where Rosita dies, Monica's Thunder, the proposal, Unagi, Chandler can't cry, the ROUTINE!
Ahhhhh. There are just too many fab moments in this show!

I understand where you are coming from. You bring up a lot of other good episodes and some bad, but I think TOW Everybody Finds Out is just so much superior. The plot structure of that episode was so well done that you had to be at least two steps ahead just to remember who knew who really knew that Monica and Chandler were going out. This episode started a catchphrase within the Friends culture with "They Don't Know That We Know They Know."
I think a lot of other people think TOW Everybody Finds Out is the greatest episode. It is also one of my two favorite episodes. I always watch that episode when it comes on reruns. This isn't a lot of episodes I can say that to. That means that this episode has staying power. Even if you are an avid Friends fan, people can watch this episode and know the basic structure for the last three seasons.

Just watched it right now. It's hysterical, and one of the funniest. Definitely on my list of favorite episodes.
I can't sway anyone -- I think this throwdown is more of an outlet for the poll, not the argument. It's a fantastic episode, and just a vote decision of BEST or not THE best.
Love the episode, though, and love the show. Boy, am I taking some throwdown losses for this show....

This is ONE of the funniest Friends episodes ever, don't get me wrong. But I can't call it the best. That title can never be given to any single episode, I think. :)

I understand this statement. But, I think there are a select few that could vie for the title of "Best Friends Episode". Here are my favorite episodes.

Man, I forgot how much I love "The One With the Mugging"--I think Season 9 is the 2nd funniest season, right after Season 5.
I do think "The One Where Everyone Finds Out" is my favorite, actually, but it's so hard--Mr. Strong is right that there are so many terrific moments. I'll vote later.

Haha, you know what's ridiculous? I couldn't remember what happened in that episode, yet I've been trying to think of what episode has the battle between the girls and the guys. Of course, it's that one! Love it.

Yeah. I pretty much agree with your list except for a few exceptions.
TOW The Prom Video is so overrated, and TOW The Boob Job isn't really funny.

i almost just didn't vote because i don't know (that is an amazing episode!). but, in the end, i'd have to put The Last One at the top of my list. possibly the best finale of any show... meh, i really liked everwood's, too. but anyways, it was really good.

Such a great episode! I have to say my favorite part of any ep occurs in this one when Joey flicks open Phoebe's blouse like magic. The expression on her face is classic.

"The One With the Embryos" is the one for me. Rachel's "What the hell is that?" and the beating on the guys door. Ross' game show voice. Monica's NOOO!!!! The guys riding in on the dog statue. Phoebe's pep talk with the embryos. I can watch it over and over and still LOL!

TOW the prom video is hands down greatest ever. I can't remember the title ep, but the one where Monica and Rachel lose their apartment to Joey and Chandler is one of the best EVER episodes of a sitcom.
