2)Envy's powers seem to be able to morph as well, giving him/her unlimited deadly possibilities

I have to vote for Envy. I don't want to say too much for fear of SPOILERS but Envy was consumed with complete hatred for the Elric brothers while Lust still had traces of humanity, which is why she was able to team up with Ed & others. Lust was captured a few times, wasn't she? She had weaknesses that could be exploited. Envy was a crazy wack-job who scared other humunculi, even Lust at times. Lust was a cool chick. Loved her voice. But
Envy was so serious a threat that he/she/it cropped up as a Big Bad in the movie.
