I thought I'd have a break this second half of the season, but I don't. I'm still so behind on my DVR'd shows that I have 7 Friday Night Lights, 8 Ditry Sexy Moneys and 4 L&O SVU's sitting there because there is too much else to watch.

How am I supposed to argue with that statement? Okay, here goes: No, your TV schedule is not still packed even without all of the best shows on the air!

I guess I need to set up my throwdowns better, but I was thinking you (you or just someone) would argue that your TV schedule is more open because you have less to watch. Even though I am watching some new programming, including Sarah Connor and Cashmere Mafia, between that and my DVR'd program and some reality, I'm almost barely noticing there's even a strike at all.

I think you should win this throwdown because I sounded like a jerk in my response! I meant to sound like I was teasing you. I'm voting for Nick! (My TV viewing is generally limited to whatever crap my kids have on - a lot of Hanna Montana, NCAA basketball, and Adult Swim. And UFC. And American Gladiators. I am happy to see Lost return.)

I think Jay should win because I totally got you were kidding. But, you also had a point - my throwdown could have been much more clear. Ok, after thinking about it while I wrote that last sentence, I've decided you're right I should win. But who wants to win by default? We should let the people decide. Are there even people out there? Could this argument BE even more off topic? (I'm excited about Lost too! See!! More TV to watch. Who sees a strike.

Let's open it up to the United States of America and let them choose a winner of this great debate!

The above is an example of how NOT to have a successful throwdown.
