Yup, having all 3 powers would be great but if I had to pick, I'd go with Freezing, Piper's power.
*Phoebe's premonition power actually got worse as the series progressed (I guess if Phoebe became MORE perceptive the sisters wouldn't have been blindsided by so much drama)
And her levitation wasn't very useful either. It's a good thing Alyssa Milano was so groovy to watch. She was the best hand-to-hand old school fighter. She had to be!
Paige's orbing ability is awesome. But it made her good at flight as opposed to fight. True, she used her ability to orb objects to her pretty well but my preference would be to have Piper as my battle buddy
Piper could stop time. She used this power often to change events and get the upper hand during a fight. She also stopped her opponents and ran away when she needed to regroup. Even better Piper's freezing powers evolved to the point where she could not only freeze mattter but she could do the opposite, Speed up molecules so they would become so agitated that objects would explode! How cool is that?
Also fun watching **** Piper when she froze parts of bad guys then slowly smashed them bit by bit. Torture & Interrogation master!

Prue did Astral Projection and telekinesis, moving things with her mind Astral Projection sucked because her spirit/ghost moved but her physical body slept in some other place (sometimes in the middle of dangerous action) She died before she could control it better
In the beginning Piper's freezing was wonky (like all the sisters) but her power increased ten-fold especially after Prue died. Sometimes demons didn't freeze depending on Piper's health and emotions (just like her sisters) Paige orbed and accidentally exposed herself a few times (when she was spying on Agent Brody) Then it was blamed on PMS (!) and a Blue Moon
Paige's orbing was cool but for 3 years, the sisters used Leo for orbing duties and they continued to do so until he lost his powers. Basically, Paige's orbing abilities weren't as unique to the Charmed Ones as Piper's freezing abilities. By the final 5 seasons, Piper grew into the uber witch who kicked butt and took names. She was the one that Paige & Phoebe relied on to give the final killing blow or to do the intimidation so they could flee if need be. Running away is nice & necessary but eventually you have to DEFEAT the bad guy. Get 'em Piper!

The Power of Three needed all 3 sisters equally, even Phoebe who didn't have an active power.

The Halliwell Manor was blown up by the forces of EVERYBODY fighting, usually when using the Hollow in the basement. Piper was NEVER responsible for blowing up the house on her own.

Sure, Paige would retrieve stuff for the sisters. That's what her power was most good for. Paige, FETCH!

Actually, I think Paige's appearance on the show forced the writers to downplay Leo's powers which forced his character to go through a lot of crap, which sometimes put a damper on the show or hurt the girls in the long run, like separating Leo & Piper which screwed up the Charmed Ones' priorities because they had to always find Leo AND vanquish the demon. Thanks Paige. Get your own darn unique power like Piper! Yeesh!
