No other SNL cast member can quite exaggerate their character's personality to make the skit perfect like Kristen Wiig. Who can resist her Weekend Update travel correspondent (just kidding just kidding just....kidding....)? Or Penelope at traffic school? The small touches, such as her eye movement and body language perfectly accentuate the character she is portraying, and she is hilarious! Amy Pohler? The whole Hillary thing is getting old...fast. As well, being anchor of Weekend Update only requires some timing, a fundamental of comedic acting. She cannot take each character and make magic out of it. Kristen Wiig can and does. End of story.
