Excellent points, huzzah. It bugged me, too, when the judges didn't call Archie out for flubbing lyrics. Anyone notice how, on one occasion, the camera actually cut to a bizarre bird's-eye angle to cover it up?
It wasn't his fault he was overhyped--I thought Archie always seemed quite humble. Still, though, Cook was more consistent.
And "With You" was arguably Archie's most awkward performance--I don't think that's a selling point. He did not pull off "I need you, boo."

I agree it wasn't his fault he was overhyped, but the more you tell people something the more it sinks in, and after 14 weeks of being told Archie was the one to beat I think a lot of people just took it for granted he would win.

If you're going to be a fan of someone, can you at least spell his name correctly?

Archie is not a bad kid but he needs a few years to mature. And if you were going to use a song as an argument, you should NOT have picked With You. That had to be the most awkward performance I've witnessed on AI in a while! That is a white boy with NO rhythm. Somewhere Chris Brown laughed his a** off at that performance!
Cookie is solid, consistent, and his voice is ready for the radio! I bought most of his songs from iTunes and they sound great!

I like both Davids but have to say that Archies version of "With You" was not that good. I am glad that David Cook won and he should be one of the best idols.
