Who is the other person responsible for Jin's death-Jack. Yep, Jack kills Seamy, not knowing he is wired with a detonator and the boat sinks taking Jin, Desmond and Michael with it. The boat sends out an SOS while it is sinking and the survivors are rescued by the Coast Guard. This is why the "big lie" about what happened has everyone in shock and Jins death is listed as the day of Flight 815's crash. The island can't be found again because Locke is successful in moving it. Smoky is Ben's manifestation of his ID a la Forbidden Planet and Ben has a plan to get off the island via a way we haven't seen yet.
