Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Bones, Veronica Mars, Wonderfalls, Arrested Development, 30 Rock, Scrubs, House, Pushing Daisies, and Law & Order: SVU

Currently working my way through Season 2 of The Closer, and taking a fresh look at Angel. I LOVE TV.

I agree about the slayerettes--I think it's mainly because there were so many of them. I resented the screen time they took away from the regulars, and I didn't get to know them well enough to care anyway. Also, they are what brought Kenndy into our world . . . enough said!

I'd love to take you up on your throwdown, but I agree with you! Right now I'm trying to think of tragic TV couples . . . nope. I can think of more tragic couples in drama (Romeo and Juliet) and film (Brokeback Mountain), but not on TV. Good topic.

I'm trying to think of a good Buffy one. I've lost the one Buffy one I did so far, so my track record isn't great!

Here are some things I believe about Buffy, and maybe you'll disagree about one and we can choose our throwdown!

--Cordelia is funnier than Anya. (I didn't think so the first time around, but when I recently rewatched the DVD's, I totally changed my mind.)

--"Innocence" is better than "Hush." (I don't know if ANYONE would agree with me there.)

--Xander and Anya should have gone through with their wedding.

--Adam and the Initiative is the series' worst big bad.

Any of those strike you? If not, I'd love to hear some of your ideas.

I'd argue worst episode: I disliked "Where the Wild Things Are," but I think "Beer Bad" is worse. Do you want to start it, or should I?

Is it just me, or is our throwdown stalled? I think each of us has one day to post--did you post? Then the throwdown is supposed to be over while others vote.

I wasn't upset at you in the slightest--just confused. In a few of my throwdowns, the site would forfeit my turn if I took more than a day to post. This just made me think something was wrong with our throwdown, like it wasn't posting your comment or something.

Plus, I am totally obsessive, checking this thing nonstop. I need help.
