If You're Reading This, You're Either A Woman Or...

I know, I know; I said I would live blog, but from the opening (musical!) number, I was hooked and decided I wanted to just concentrate on watching the snark unfold without worrying about coming up with something clever of my own to inject into the night.However, as the minutes ticked off into a… Read

They're Making This An Annual Thing, Right?

danielletbd's Blog :: danielletbd , 22 days ago, 108 views

    An extension of who I am: I self-published my first novel, "Stars in their Eyes," a tale of sort-of love and semi-fame for a young soap star in LA in November 2007. It was based on a cable comedy pilot of the same name and can be found for sale on amazon.com. Second novel, "pseudonym," loosely based on my own childhood is being shopped around for a more traditional publishing deal. I am a self-proclaimed (but others agree) pop culture junkie who believes there is no such thing as a guilty pleasure: if you love it, just own it! I'm great at quoting random movies from my childhood and television shows I connect with today, playing the Movie Game, and playing Six Degrees of Separation (ala Kevin Bacon). I recognize even the D-List celebrities when I see them in the Beverly Center or the Grove or Ralphs or in their cars on the 101. I also review new releases (theatrical and DVD) for www.socal.com
